SIGN A NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT
We typically sign a non-disclosure agreement with our potential customers so there is a comfort level on both sides that everything we discuss will be 100% held in complete confidence.
CUSTOMER/PROSPECT SITE VISIT
plastech Molding likes to get a feel for our customers’ operations and understand what products we may be able to assist them with. A site visit early on in the process helps get the partnership off on the right footing.
HOST CUSTOMER AT OUR HOPEDALE FACILITY
We believe it’s critical for customers to tour our facility to get an understanding of how we do things and to see firsthand what sets us apart from other molders.
We review the economics and engineering of your project and assess our capabilities against your requirements. We review the potential for automation and a variety of pricing models to fit your situation. We acknowledge the receipt of all RFQ’s within 24 hours and strive to respond within one week.
TOOL BUILDING OR TRANSFER PROCESS
We provide engineering support to help you build the tool you want in a cost-effective manner. If you are transferring a mold to us we have a robust process for transitioning existing tooling to our location.
Once the tooling is complete or transferred to our facility, we test the tool and run sample parts to ensure the parts are to your specifications. Our quality department reviews product specifications, communicates results, and helps to create a plan to rectify issues as needed.
Once the test parts are approved and released to production we mold the volume of parts you have requested. We in-process monitor the production from a quality perspective to ensure repeatability and the integrity of your product.
